Doing Good and Doing Well: Sustainability as a Strategic Advantage

Presented by The VCU School of Business

This panel discussion will focus on the concept of sustainability from a business perspective (how is the concept related to business strategy, tactics and the goals of ROI, profit generation, stock price enhancement, etc?), but will also discuss the boundary spanning realities of "sustainability" and how such realities lead to new business and commercial opportunities.

The Impact of Hispanic Business Practices on Virginia

Presented by The Tayloe Murphy Center of UVa's Darden School of Business

The presentation will reflect on the substantial and growing presence of the Hispanic community in Virginia. It will explore the opportunities and challenges Hispanics face in terms of accessing financial services. Importantly, the presentation will examine the impact on the community if the unbanked are provided bank access.
