Ms. Brenda Kimmel is assistant to Michel Zajur, President of VAHCC.  Brenda is also involved in the day to day operations of the Chamber i.e. membership, website, newsletter, etc.  Ms. Kimmel also helps assist in the coordinating program activities; preparing general correspondence; preparing reports for granting agencies; and coordinating on-site and in-house technical assistance requests. 

Ms. Kimmel previously worked as website administrator and with marketing at Willow Oaks Country Club in Richmond from 1998-2008, where she was responsible for day to day needs of members, marketing all Club events, daily updating of the website, assisting with reserving club space for meetings, wedding coordinator, and assisting staff members with their daily work schedules.  

Ms. Kimmel earned an associate’s degree from Jacksonville University in Florida.  She is currently taking classes to help people with Alzheimer’s and dementia and volunteers at local nursing homes.
