 | Originally from Peru, Elvira De la Cruz Macedo holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a Masters degree in Administration, supplemented with a diploma in Environmental Management for Business. Mrs. De la Cruz has experience in the private and public sectors and has worked in Operational Management for a large agricultural and industrial company as well as in the Planning, Budget, and Logistic units for the National Environmental Council in Peru. Additionally, Mrs. De la Cruz has experience in eCommerce, developing and managing an international internet-based business. |
Since arriving in the United States, she has been working closely with Virginia's Hispanic community through a variety of companies, including Bon Secours Foundation, Spanish Academy and Cultural Institute teaching and translating, The James House Intervention and Prevention as Advocacy Service Program Manager, and the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as e-Marketing Business Consultant.
