
Born in Mexico City, Guillermo Muhech is a corporate attorney trained in both the civil and common law traditions. He obtained his Master of Laws from the University of Virginia School of Law in May 2009, specializing in corporate law. He graduated with a Master in Corporate Laws from Universidad Panamericana School of Law in 2006 and with a J.D. in 2005.
Before coming to the US in 2008, he worked at De La Calle & Dosal as a senior associate for several years, and is currently Of-Counsel for such firm in the Corporate and International Law groups. Previously, and while studying for his LL.M, he worked as Corporate Counsel for WalMart Mexico.
He has closely collaborated with the major Chambers of Commerce in Mexico, as well as other associations in the business and non-profit sectors.
Mr. Muhech's areas of specialization are corporate and international business law; much of his work deals with cross-border transactions and complex commercial law matters. He is a keen amateur golfer and serves in the boards of directors for numerous companies, in Mexico and further abroad.
