As a member of MWV’s Paperboard Operations / Supply Chain function, you will serve as a highly participating member, supporting our Strategic Business Units (SBU); operate as an internal sales resource and as a champion of executing order fulfillment processes efficiently and effectively. As an Account Representative (AR), you will provide essential communication between the line of business and its customers in support of the field selling effort.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV
As an Account Representative for one of our Paperboard Operations SBUs, you will be responsible for driving the successful order fulfillment process for SBU customers, fully participate in the general management of the assigned SBU, build effective customer relationships through a proactive service mindset and anticipate customer requirements and integrates into MWV’s supply chain practices. Additional requirements include, but are not limited to:
•Using historical buying pattern data and knowledge of customer inventory levels, anticipate customer needs and proactively provide information to customers
•Respond to customer inquiries concerning order status and product availability
•Process and track orders, trials, samples
•Handle customer complaints (including administration) and settle customer disputes
•Communicate with sales support, plant and technical personnel concerning aspects of customer orders/inquiries and issues
•Develop a broad and deep understanding of key customer needs including proactively researching and visiting customer facilities
•Maintain effective, strong external and internal relationships
•Utilize data from various sources for optimal decision making
•Perform other account and project management tasks as necessary
•Solicit sales to establish accounts through outbound calls to existing customers
•Address credit-related issues and disposition of aged inventory
