Job Title: Senior Information Security Analyst

Job Summary:

· Works fairly independently, this role assists in the development of security policies, standards and procedures for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments

· Works closely with Specialists in Systems Security and Network Systems Operations to consult with clients, management and staff for risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products

· May lead moderately complex projects

· Administers information security safeguards

· Coordinates investigation and reporting of major data security incidents

· Works with multiple business units on multi-project assignments

· Guides and advises less experienced Systems Security Analysts

· Maybe monitored on project's progress and results

· Errors may cause delay, expense and disruption

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

· 5-7years experience in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software communications and network protocols required

Experiences and qualities desired include:

· Demonstrated experience with Juniper security technologies

· Demonstrated experience with VPNs, network routing, and network address translation

· Demonstrated experience with firewall security policies

· Requires intermediate TCP/IP networking knowledge

· Network + and Security + certifications and UNIX experience desired

· Demonstrated competency in verbal and written communications and interpersonal understanding

· Demonstrated ability to seek and understand customer issues and business needs

· Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees and to influence and impact others

· Demonstrated ability and focus on improving processes

· Demonstrated competency in logical and analytical thinking

· Demonstrated competency in developing effective solutions to business problems

· Demonstrated concern for quality, self-starter and ability to be flexible

· Experience in performing varied duties simultaneously, and in organizing and setting priorities

Education:

· Preferred: Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Systems or Math or Business or technical equivalent
