The Social Security Administration has created a new website that allows users to sign up for important government services in Spanish.  The website, segurosocial.gov, makes it quick and easy for Spanish speakers to apply online for Social Security and Medicare benefits.

Even if someone is enrolled with Social Security or Medicare, segurosocial.gov provides information on many other services such as Extra Help and the Retirement Estimator. Extra Help is a program that could help qualified applicants save as much as $4,000 a year on the cost of their prescription drugs.  The Retirement Estimator allows individuals preparing for retirement to estimate what they can expect from Social Security by using their actual wages.

This website is the easiest way to take action and can take as little as 15 minutes.  To take advantage of this online service and more, please visit segurosocial.gov.
