(Tysons Corner, Va.) Northern Virginia-area small businesses can get a free website and domain name with monthly Google workshops in January, February, and March in English and Spanish. The workshops will consist of two hours each, training and setting up attendees with all the knowledge and tools they need to optimize their web presence. Google is partnering with the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (VAHCC), a non-profit organization dedicated to cross-cultural commerce and economic development, bringing Google employees and materials to teach the workshops at the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority in Tysons Corner. Classes are held on January 18th, February 15th, and March 21st, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The VAHCC is offering these workshops free to their Members, with only a small administrative fee to prospective Members, and the general public is welcome to register.
