Internships with the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce offer hands-on experience working in a bilingual environment in a variety of fields.
As an intern at the VAHCC/VHF you will receive projects that will align your area of interest with our organization’s needs. Our internship opportunities provide a wide variety of disciplines which range from graphic media production to business development.
IDEAL CANDIDATES ARE
REQUIREMENTS & BENEFITS
9 to 20 hours a week between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Events after regular business hours and on weekends are optional but encouraged. Open to sophomores, juniors and seniors. Written and verbal proficiency in Spanish, as well as English, is preferred.
Our internships allow students to focus on building upon their academic knowledge through hands-on experience. Interns are integrated into a depth of information regarding various economic, social, and educational aspects of the Hispanic community in Virginia. They are also able to develop and expand their Spanish language skills.
