Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. From supporting signature events like the ¿Qué Pasa? Festival and Annual Gala to assisting with business programs, workshops, and community initiatives—your time and talents help drive meaningful impact across Virginia.
Whether you're looking to expand your network, give back to the community, or gain hands-on experience, there’s a place for you here.
Legislative Reception
The Legislative Reception is an opportunity for the community to network with top community officials, state legislatures and business leaders. It takes place at the beginning of February.
Volunteers will be given the opportunity to welcome guests, sign in individuals, and meet the men and women who represent our community.
¿Qué Pasa? Festival
The ¿Qué Pasa? Festival is the largest Hispanic festival in Virginia where we showcase the diversity of Hispanic culture that is present in our state. It takes place at the beginning of May.
Volunteer opportunities range from welcoming guests, helping out in the beer garden, kids zone, set-up and take-down, and much more. This is also an outdoor event.
Hispanic Gala
The Virginia Hispanic Foundation Annual Hispanic Gala is celebrated during Hispanic Heritage Month and is our biggest educational programs fundraising event of the year. It takes place at the end of October.
Volunteers opportunities range from setting up, greeting, and checking in guests and speakers, and more.
Job Fairs
The Virginia Hispanic Chamber hosts multiple Job Fairs throughout the year in order to provide necessary jobs and employees throughout the community. These events are held throughout the state as well as online.
Volunteers opportunities range from setting up, greeting, and confirming employers, and checking in job seekers.
